Public Notes:

Surprisingly light, reverse taper; fine focusing with eye-side tubes. Same dimension and gold embossing as instruments in Hannover and Gottingen collections. Signature on main box. Objective focal length 850 mm for each. Three lens ocular focal length is 51 mm each. Roughly 17x magnification. Gives a very sharp image. Each draw has a diaphragm plate, with two tube holes at, fixed in place at eye-side end of draw. Providing internal stability for the draw box. A knotted cord running through the center of this plate prevents this instrument from being over extended.
